I finished Fafner Exodus and I'd like to take this chance to mention how good the franchise as a whole is. It's really underrated and unmentioned
It's a real slow boil of a show. At first nothing seems to make a lot of sense and it feels somewhat derivative of other shows that came out around the same time. But it really starts to grow on you. A lot of characters that seemed to be really two dimensional at first slowly get fleshed out more and before you know it you've fallen in love with the whole cast. It's really densely packed with lots of little details and character moments, so it's the sort of show that actually improves when you rewatch it and catch stuff that you haven't seen before >>27052
It's the sort of show where you can watch it and think, "yep that's definitely a Tomino show"
I do like that it doesn't waste time
