Re:Creators was a huge disappointment as normal
Tzuredure, Aho Girl, and Yoroshiku etc. were the shows of the season for me. I'd say that NG II was decent, but I wasn't really that into New Game in the first place.
It felt pretty weak to me to be honest. But there were some pretty fun shows this season like aho girl, tzuredure children, new game!!, knights and magic and princess principal. And some really good ones like made in abyss.
Over all it could have been worse, but I'm definitely looking forwards to new things.

So it was a weak season with at least 6 good shows?
Dumb flippin poosei
I wouldn't say they were all good, more like they were at least entertaining enough to keep up with. And now that I think of it Isekai shokudou was pretty alright too. I guess I'm just expecting too much out of anime these days.
How was the portrayal of fictional Britain in princess principal? Was it your average jap understanding of a foreign country?
Delete that right now
I'll end you poosei mark my words, those were all good shows
Knights and Magic was boring as fuck m8
Knights & Magic started out very nice but those last 4 eps dug themselves too deep
I havent finished it yet, is it worth it for cutErni?
half-human? so sort of like an Eva?
Dumpoosei strikes again
I dropped most of them except for Youkoso. Bahamut looks alright I don't know why even dropped it in the first place. I've lately just been watching older stuff.
we had 2 entire shows worth watching even as a backlog (Princess Principal, Made in Abyss), 2 very good doublets (Sakura Quest finishing, Mahoujin Guru Guru beginning), and the rest was 'mostly' ok.
overall it was the working man's season: nothing too fancy, but got the job done.

You all forgot AOTS
I don't think anyone forgot about that show no matter how much they wanted to.
A decent season.
Isekai Shokudou was just what I expected, ie, a good dose of comfy every week. Enjoyable all the way through, and even had a good last episode. I'd definitely recommend it.
Made in Abyss is apparently a very faithful adaptation, even adding some material in parts, but it also feels really slow, and not just because there are lots of flashbacks and recaps. Despite that, it's still pretty good. Maybe even AotS? There weren't a lot of contenders.
Princess Principal surprisingly turned out to be really fun, if a bit cheesy and ridiculous. Sadly, it's the kind of premise that I think could have used two cour to fully explore, but I suppose it's better to be keep it short and sweet than to risk dragging it out too long. Either way, I'm going to miss it.
The second half of Sakura Quest was fine. My expectations were set a little high, and I was constantly comparing it to Shirobako, so it was a little disappointing, but not bad. Still, I'd say it's the kind of thing that was only worth watching while it was airing.
The second half of Shingeki no Bahamut, on the other hand, really picked up. We have yet to see how it ends, but it's been an exciting ride, so I'm satisfied. Definitely a worthy sequel.
Symphogear AXZ is amazing, and a hundred times better than GX, but it seems nobody around here cares about Symphogear anyway.
And of course Tsuredzure Children and Aho Girl were both good. Not a lot to say about them, though, they're just fun shorts.
Did you watch Youkouso? Personally I thought that and MiA were the two best shows of the season.
>it seems nobody around here cares about Symphogear anyway
I think people were excited for the first episode at least. No idea why nobody talked about it after though.
>>22375>Did you watch Youkouso?
No, I'm straight.>I think people were excited for the first episode
That was all me, but I stopped posting about it when there were no replies. Can't be helped.
