also, would any stupid gaijin really be stupid gaijin enough to say stuff like "pin-senpai-san" even through they're apparently completely fluent in japanese?

The first episode was okay. The second bored me. Nyanko Big is the best character by far. He reminds me of my cat.

I feel like you answered your own question there.

So "meh" the thread's only gotten three posts, and at least two of them are the same person.
Even shitty shows generate discussion.

I don't even remember what this show was about and I watched 7 episodes before dropping it

It was the plainest romance I've ever seen. The actual story could probably have been told just as well in three episodes, but it was stuffed with lots of unnecessary characters, side plots, and SoL segments, none of which were engaging or added much to the whole. It utterly lacked charm.
From the same studio and team that made Nozaki-kun, I expected a lot more, but even the animation was pretty shoddy for some reason. Pic related; the longer you look, the more horrific the anatomy gets.

Right right, that was why I picked it up, but it was just so fucking boring that I dropped it. It wasn't funny like Nozaki and it wasn't very compelling storywise, it felt like there were at least two episodes where actually nothing happened. It's too bad too, I think I went in with high hopes.
I guess just we'll just have to stick with Nozaki.

I watched the whole thing and I couldn't tell you any details. After a while, I just started having it on at work while I did my job.
Rainbow Shogun was a pretty cool show-within-a-show, though.

I've never seen Nozaki-kun. I hear it's good and have been meaning to.

Just so you know what to expect, it's more comedy than romance, and the anime doesn't have much of a conclusion, so don't hold your breath for any sort of climax. Aside from that, it's way better than TadaKoi by any measure.
