Really? I'd passed this one over because it looked like it might be targeted more at kids, but if you say it's that good, then I'll have to give it a chance.
Why is the red blood cell helping the white blood cell search for the invaders
Holy fuck I want to fuck RBC though
Mate, if you bleed every time you so much as bump into a door, I have some bad news.
I just realized the main character almost died here. Macrophages eat red blood cells.>>26650
Eh, you can easily bruise depending where you bump.
I just realized the main character is a red blood cell
It tells you that upfront though.
Hataraku Saibou BLACK, a darker and edgier, but more realistically representing, spinoff series. There's also Hatarakanai Saibou, a spinoff series about immature cells.
Someone from 4/a/ has ripped it messily, there's only raws for now but enjoy if you like.
For some reason I feel drawn to these images in this thread, I wonder what the connection is.
If you want to watch you should use the [:v] subber, his subs are less of a complete fucking mess than Horrible's.
I already saw episode 1 and I'm gonna watch episode 2 and keep up so sadly no goodsubs for me.
Ah alright, I just rewatched it using [:v] is all.
Well enjoy, it's fucking great.
Yeah, that's actually plot-relevant in a small way, if you know how and why RBCs don't have a nucleus. Wait for episode 4 or 5, you'll see loli RBC-chan
There was definitely a JJBA reference.
I'm gonna marry all the macrophages.
Macrophage-chan will eat you alive
Oh yes, she'll eat me alright.
The funniest thing about this show is how weirdly accurate it is about the dumbest stuff.
Like, remember how RBC carted around a bacterium in the first episode? Turns out that actually happens in real life, that particular bacteria can piggyback on a healthy RBC to get to where it wants to be without getting caught.
Even dumb stuff like Platelets getting piggyback rides counts, since neutrophils actually do cart around platelets on their bodies.
I love Macrophage
does it really make sense for one cell to kill an entire parasite?
help me understand, samageniuses!
It's an abstraction, basically. Parasites are way bigger than they're presented here. Eosinphiles are specialized towards killing parasites but they still need to gang up on them to contain the damage.
I mean if you check the numbers on the hats and then check the fact that white blood cells number in the many billions while red blood cells are far more common, every cell is actually representing tens or thousands if not more.
remember how in the end of ep1 red blood cell asked white blood cell "will we ever meet again?" and he's like "no"?
Now I love Macrophage and Mast Cell
Well, it IS statistically unlikely.>>26905
All the cells are very cute.
Also yay, next episode is the loli RBC episode!
>>26967>I hope the likes of Eosinophil, Mast Cell and NK Cell aren't just single episode characters

I want to have lots of childmaking sex with Macrophage and knock her up with as many children as I can.
damn nature you scary!
Cancer was the worst part of the manga, it's still the worst part of the anime.
It feels like cheap drama. I mean yes it makes a lot of sense that it's full of drama but it doesn't do as much for me as for example the Heat Shock bit in the manga.
I don't mind drama in this kind of anime, but it was badly managed. It boiled down to "I'm just doing my job please understand".
I think splitting up the hemolytic shock episode was a bad idea. Cliffhangers are all well and good but I think it drains away the momentum of the show, since there was heavy reliance on a feeling of urgency involved.
