That's not really an excuse after the first season selling like hotcakes. It just comes down to the show itself being difficult to adapt and Madhouse not being interested in putting in the effort I think. I mean, the basic idea of it and the way it's written is similar to KSnH, which people back in '11 were shouting about how it was literally impossible to adapt because of how huge it was and how much monologuing and talking there was.
Overlord is basically in the same zone, there's a ridiculous number of characters, endless talking and monologuing on both sides, it's just not a show that translates easily to a visual medium.>>27901
See and this is a prime example of what happens when you make a show with too much goddamn talking poorly because it just went ON and ON and nothing ever actually happened.
