Didn't like the first episode all that much but I like the atmosphere and setting so I'll continue watching.
Wakaba is so fucking annoying holy shit
Maybe it's just that I'm getting numb to it but Wakaba seemed a little less annoying this episode.
All the talk about the lost sisters was nice, it made you really feel like the girls care about them. I expect they'll show up soon enough from those gray crystals. The continued hints about how all the girls work and what they are (plants?) is still super interesting, as is the mention of "the first person". The Rinas continue to super adorable and cool, I love them.
I'm dying to get my hands on the OST
Its very excellent yeah
I like the atmosphere it lends the show a lot.
calling it now: wakaba is a real human, all the rinX girls are robots
my current theory:
the girls are robots
the leaves are something between a power source and a control panel, sort of the smartphones of the future
Update working hypothesis:
The girls are robotic things
The leaves are general instruments/power source things. Green leaves will save the world.
nyaaa girl is best girl and will suffer a terrible death for it
God that fight against the giant laser bug on the bridge was really really cool. I hope the action scenes continue to be as good. I still have no idea what's going on and I love it. The girls are obviously robots/plant constructs of some kind, since they all seem to be powered by a different form of Kemurikusa. I wonder if there's any significance to how the destroyed Red Bugs always leave pools of blood when they're defeated. I wonder if this show is gonna pull what Gargantia did and have the bugs be people all along.>>28764
That's kind of what annoys me so much about him
There's no need for him to just reiterate what I'm already naturally thinking.

this is so cool
(the ED is such a cool way of telling a backstory… can't believe I've been skipping it all this time)
I'm all out of theories
but next episode is the inevitable everything gets explained before final showdown episode
I can't wait
I heard this show is doing absolutely stupid well
Part of it I suppose has to be the fact that fans just want to stick it to Kadokawa and cheer up Tatsuki but still holy shit
Kadokawa must be undergoing some serious staff reshuffles right about now
>this show is doing absolutely stupid well
humanity may still have hope
I'm really glad to hear this is doing well, it deserves it just based on how original it is, never mind the Tatsuki/Kadokawa angle. I've always liked the idea of anime original stories more than adaptations because it lets the show work with the limitations of the format rather than be constrained by them. It's a shame so many of them turn out kinda mediocre though, so I'm always happy when one turns out actually good.
Is the annoying male MC dead yet?
It's worse with Re:Creators type things because you can see the good ideas buried in there and the premise honestly seems fucking cool but then the execution falls flatter than most lolis and you have a single good character stuck in a horrendous show
this is amazing
