I never did finish FAG….
The doujins write themselves
Tiny robot girls? I gotta watch this now!>>29560
You should! It was fun! S2 should be soon too I think.
I really like the OP.
Wow, this show has a way groovier OP than it deserves to.
I'm really glad Nona already found out she's a toy. It would have been tiresome (and obvious) to drag out the will-she won't-she of that situation.
This is only going to get more fun.
Man this show destroyed everything it established from the first episode in the second and I love it.>>29734
I wouldn't mind my life being an anime…
I like how his reaction is based on how much he'd hate an anime like that.>>29817>>29819
I'd drop your guys' anime halfway through episode 1 no doubt.
But my life would be more interesting if it were an anime.

Does Samachan agree with the MC or his friend?
Should you make up reasons for character actions and plot movements to better enjoy it like MC, or just get ticked off and have fun criticizing the show like his buddy?
I mean it feels to me like whatever you enjoy better
I personally won't make up actions and motivations since that's 1. too much work and 2. impossible unless the show is completed. If the show is bad then just call it what it is, that's my take.

It's pointless to argue that one way of enjoying things is better than another (not that there's anything wrong with pointless arguments). More importantly, though, I simply don't believe that these two guys always stick to the way each of them was championing. I for one can go either way, depending on the situation.
This very season, for example, I've found that Cinderella Nine, which is in objective terms bad, becomes rather enjoyable if I invest myself into it. In contrast, Violet Evergarden required a smaller amount of viewer effort yet I dropped it swiftly and mercilessly. It boils down to whether the anime has the particular things that make me give a shit so that my investment will pay off.
And now I shall pleasure myself with some fault-finding.
Anyone else thought the sound was off this episode? The voices were a tad too quiet compared to the music, and there was this bit here where the sound and visuals are noticeably out of synch, but most of all, what was the point of playing the OP through the questionnaire scene? Was that supposed to be a high-paced, climactic moment? I looked up the sound director, it's a nobody.

God I love robot girls, even if she is a figure
Little sister was neat. I like how she wasn't phased at the fact a figure had come to life lol.>>29899
You want her to take advantage of her brothers wife?!
amazingly nice episode. Dark nona and dragon quest girl are cool.>>29926
Of course I do.

Yes very nice episode.>>29981
I'm going to buy the BDs just to watch this scene again with the hair animation fixed.

Very cute so far. People say this season sucks but I like it more than the last few and this anime is one of the reasons why.
People always say every season sucks.
Jeez some husband this guy is. Who forgets about their wife that soon.
virgin otaku losers who suddenly find themselves with the affection of not just one cute girl, but two
He has prepared for this moment his entire life with thousands of hours of eroge, doujinshi, and harem anime.
and he is doing a great job by forgetting that the super cute Nona-chan exists because some dumb bitch from Dragon Quest has the hots for him
We should all be so lucky.
I sure hope nobody on the sama is fickle.
this is such an oddly appealing series
BELLNOA IS A HOME-WRECKING SKANK!

Everyone should be so lucky.
I actually really like it. It can be a tad bit jarring on some small occasions, but it just shows how far 3DCG can come.
Oh, thank you for making a webm of this so I didn't have to.
Nona is the cutest and this anime is amazing.
It feels as if using 3DCG for the figures was in part a stylistic choice or at worst a production compromise they've made the best of with skilled animators and modelers. Some of the stuff like >>29985
is clearly not 3DCG and some of the other stuff looks like it might be deep canvas sort of hybrid work. My eyes aren't trained enough to really make it out but if there's going to have to be 3DCG in an anime I'd definitely prefer it be of this quality. Stuff like what was in Love Live just really kills me and turns me off completely.
It seems to me more like animators are finally realizing that one of the best ways to make 3DCG appear less jarring is to adjust it to anime's limitations instead of the other way around. Were this in the late 00s (or a madhouse production), she'd be moving at smooth 60fps and conflicted with everything else on screen.

I decided to start watching and it's better than I thought. OP image reminds me of Megas XLR and not in a good way and the first episode was pretty lackluster, but I made a point to watch more and it improved by leaps and bounds as far as entertainment value goes. Perhaps because the apparent concept of keeping Nona in the dark didn't sit right with me.
Nona's seiyuu does an amazing job and even though there's 3DCG, the anime feels sort of late 90s. The OP carries that vibe and I love it.
>>30358>and this anime is amazing.
Well it does have the word amazing in the title, its only natural it should live up to it!
I really like the new girl, she's pretty darn cute!

This girl has my favourite design by far.>>29884
Not so much make up reasons but rather try to uncover the possible logic behind certain character actions and plot points. If you don't put in minimum effort trying to understand what's going on, you have no right to judge whether or not a show is bad and you have actively contributed to the dumbing down of stories over the last two decades.
Coincidentally, I spent a good time giving tate no yuusha the benefit of the doubt and trying to assume why certain dumb things could possibly make sense but I gave the author too much credit.>>29890>It boils down to whether the anime has the particular things that make me give a shit so that my investment will pay off.
I can't disagree with this.

I just assumed they played part of the OP because they didn't get to at the start of the episode. I'm wearing headphones so I didn't notice anything about the sound being too low. Nor did I notice anything out of sync.
Watching this gave me a headache.
It gave me a nosebleed.
Both characters in this scene are in 2D. That's half the anime's budget right there.

>>30546>Haruto is truly a mastermind
Yeah a evil one.
What a cute tank!!!>>30641
Yeah, poor girl, keeping her feelings pent up for so long.
I wonder what's in the last episode that haruto didnt want nona to see…
Tonight I was having a pretty shitty dream when suddenly a street musician in it started playing the Amazing Stranger OP on an accordion. I woke up from the excitement of finding an anime reference in my dream. That is all, sorry and thank you.

Well that was cute, I sure am gonna miss that OP though.
I like how the sculptor lady was shown in the OP for the whole season but never really did anything until the last two episodes lol.
I'm glad they touched on that other figure that was bought at the same time as Belnoa too, because I thought it might have been the tank girl.
I'm glad the other nona got a happy ending too
the beginning was great, but for unknown reasons I lost interest by the time the blue doll was introduced
The worst episode is the one right after she shows up, episode 8, so you saved yourself.
