i cannot believe people actually watch this shit instead of skipping
i want to take a swig from the bottle right after pouring samachanonymous-tan's sake cup for her and then pour her another cup before she's done with the first one
Well you watch it if it's good, isn't that the point?>>30688
Nah just leave it as is, I think people will understand
Anyway I'm too much of a lazy shitter to make webms so I'll just drop the song here.
Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon
It's one of the series Kawakami does
Watching this OP becomes funnier and funnier as the anime progresses.
Ah it's indeed the author with loads of volumes, enough to make a tower (worded it funny back there). Might watch later down the road, seems fun.>>30720
The realization when the OP is part of the manga and has an actual background to it makes it even better. Really like the anime.

This has always been a favorite ED, the visuals are so cool and unique
I have had this on my backlog since forever, it looks very fun.>>30738
I love this OP as well, NOW I'VE LOST IT and GANG BANG SON OF A GUN always makes me smile but the song is actually catchy too
I remember being really into mekakucity's music back when it was airing. and for a while after too lol. I wonder if they ever released the full versions of those songs. irrc they were based off of vocaloid ones that weren't half bad.
Man this show was way better than it had any right to be.
This was all drawn and animated in pen on a real life drawing pad.

Does this count as bullying or love?

I can't believe how much I enjoyed this one, it was fairly slow and also rather tame with the magic shenanigans yet it kept me going back eagerly week after week, is it because I finally reached the point where iyashikei is the true salvation?
Flying Witch is a masterpiece but iyashikei is also the best genre

This is my favorite Pani Poni OP.
That ED actually introduced me to Etsuko Yakushimaru, I love her voice. JinTai is one of my favorite shows too, and the ED is super cool. I can't really describe it but it fits the theme show really well? Especially of course the bit where she just lays down and dies at the end

In my case what introduced me to her was this one, so far every anime I've watched with one of her songs has been really good one way or the other. >>30966
I also got reminded with that one, dunno what it is that makes them give a similar vibe. Voice? Rhythm? Visuals? In any case a nice ED for sure.>>31034
This one is very interesting, of the few times we get real stuff all over and certainly reminds me of Pikmin.
Ten years later and I still have no idea what the hell Eris is supposed to be wearing in that opening bit.
Good show though

Don't do this to me
Wow, dub Kamiyama sounds like a friggin dwap.

Doke doke doke, forever the best part.
I liked the anime and the manga of this but I didn't finish one of the two and I can't remember which one it was…
Forgive the quality, I can't find the actual OP and this is the best that I can find. Joshiraku is probably still my favorite anime, I wish there are other animes like it that are more dialogue heavy. Despite that the animation sequences are nice too and I would personally classify it as an iyashikei, which is something I have a weak spot for.
I'd also add these two other OPs that I enjoy and have yet to be posted rather than make a separate post for it.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dZFVJhtJE0https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-AiGlgHUk8
All the dialogue in that show really distracted me from how cute the girls were…
seeing japanese schools IRL is always so depressing
they look like prisons
ah yes the prisons with tons of windows and lots of natural lighting
Maybe he means a nordic prison.

I really loved Alien 9 so I kind of want to check this show out, I've heard it's a similar kind of weird. Also it has a rockin' OP?!
The anime is mediocre, the manga is better but it's still not as good as Alien 9, although it's true that they're kind of similar.
this opening is really good and I've never heard of it before. Reading the synopsis it seems like it's a easy-going romcom with a lot of episodes. Is it any good?
Rumiko Takahashi sensei's stuff is always good.
It's personally one of my favorites. A lot of people argue it's "too long", and that it spends too much time in the "will they, won't they" stuff, but I disagree, as you can tell how the characters slowly grow throughout the series (and time actually passes from one event to another), both in personality, experiences and understanding, while keeping a healthy balance between the "they're like real people" and "they're cartoonish, goofy, dumb" patterns. The nice music and being from the 80s also help in making it an overall nice experience.
I remember watching like 20 episodes of this straight at a bowling alley once. Good times.
I'm not very knowledgable regarding Gundam or its music, but I do know this one and I definitely like the second OP more than the first one, particularly the version with the sound effects and the beeping at the start. Then again it's really lacking in Relena screentime.

Wasn't this the most butchered Clamp adaptation ever or something?
Yeah, I don't know about other anime adaptation of Clamp's works but the first season of Rayearth was true to the source material but subsequently took a departure from the manga.
Clamp adaptations are known for mostly being pretty bad other than a couple but I'd always heard Rayearth was the worst because of that.

Beautiful, I see myself rewatching it soon. Maybe around New Years.
Anime of the decade.

It's amazing how many good ones this series ended up producing. I remember picking up Bake due to the other Nadeko one
Shaft has always put out really good OPs.
Speaking of Shaft OPs, 8bit did a great, sort of Shafty, job with the Yama no Susume ones. It wasn't bad at all but I was a bit disappointed with how normal the season 3 one was.>>33426
Welcome! I hope you enjoy your stay.
How come their best openings are always overshadowed by their average moe predecessors?
Moe is love! Moe is courage! Moe is hope!>>33426
Thanks for the visit fren>>33428>>33427
Ahh I get where you're coming from, also that first one for some reason feels like something that would come outin a movie for the series.

Well, the Sobakasu one might be more iconic. Then again that one isn't here either, heh
I posted a cover version on the music thread.
I just noticed, nice!

HOLY SHIT I HAD THIS SONG STUCK IN MY HEAD MONTHS AGO AND I COULDN'T FIND IT BUT HERE IT IS
It's one of the most memorable ones from that series in my opinion so it's expected you would have it somewhere in your mind. Now that I think about it I haven't listened to the full song in quite a while.
Posting it because I got reminded of it and because why not
ED here >>33207
God this show needed to be two cours so badly. Episode 9 was exquisite.
Yeah, it's not like there were many volumes to adapt to begin with as apparently there's only 6 so 2 cours would've been enough given proper planning, such a bummer.
By looking up the number of volumes I discovered that the author is the same for Strike the Blood, no wonder I like the latter too.
This ED was way too good for this garbage short
