I posted this thread to a few other IBs but I'll be posting it here as well to spread the word

Yesterday I was watching a youtuber called Whang whom makes videos about tales from the internet, and he made a video that really grabbed my attention! It's a video about an ongoing internet mystery about this supposed lost anime.

The story goes like this: some time in 2015, an /x/ user on gaijinTITS posted in a thread titled "things you have found on the deep web". In this post, he said that sometime in 2011, he found an OVA for a really obscure 90s anime. The title of the anime was in Japanese but he remembers seeing some English words that said something like "Go For A Punch". The anime itself is a very grotesque gurofest. It's about 9 girls who get trapped inside of a bathroom with no way out. You see how their sanity begins to break and at the end, they all commit suicide in some very graphic ways. One of them smashes her head open, another one asks to be drowned, ect.
You should probably watch the video to catch up with all there is to know so far

If you have absolutely any leads or ideas, no matter how small, don't hesitate to post them here! Any bit helps!

that's what people said about clock man and crybaby lane, and those turned out to be true

I feel like the description is vague enough that something out there could fit it. Anyway, stuff like this is fun.

I remember following the Crybaby Lane threads; it pretty much seemed like bullocks until it was found.

i searched with five different deep web search engines with key terms "Saki Sanobashi" "Go For A Punch""パンチを求めて"and"パンチを求めて go for a punch" and browsed multiple Japanese forums to no luck if it did exist knowing the deep web the site was probably taken down and this piece was lost to the void :/

have you tried google yet?

saki sanobashi is without a doubt NOT the real name! That was just a made up name that stuck around to refer to this unknown anime. If this anime is somewhere on the cleanet or deepweb, it most likely will not be found by searching saki sanobashi. I'm currently searching the deep web for guro websites and forums.

to be fair even if such a thing does exist, none of the finer details provided should be taken as fact and used to search. Neither the 90s thing, the number of girls, the english provided nor it being of japanese origin to begin with.

That said I was reminded of a japanese movie I once watched, I thinkg it was called Zoo or something, where a bunch of girls are trapped in different rooms and a kid saves them.
